Ceramic tungsten technology

The membranes of the K series are produced in an elaborate process. 20% of the molecular structure of an aluminum cone is converted into a ceramic structure and refined with tungsten particles. The result is a membrane with an optimal ratio of stiffness to weight and improved internal damping.

Connection terminal

The audiophile, 750 watt digital power amplifier of the subwoofer is equipped with a high-level and a low-level input. Volume level, phase adjustment and transition frequency can be controlled directly from the listening station via a radio remote control. The bass system, embedded in a solid baffle made of 50 mm thick multilayer laminate, together with the Bass Guide® integrated in the base, ensures impressive basses up to 18 Hertz.

Housing geometry

The solid structure made of high-quality 50 mm multilayer laminate sets new standards in terms of stability. The shape of the housings is elaborately milled out of the full material in a special process.

High-end indoor cabling

The cable routes inside the housing are reduced to a minimum. The cables themselves were specially developed for the Reference K speakers. The design with special core and six twisted individual conductors per phase ensures optimal sound transmission from the connection terminal to the chassis.

Surfaces

The elegant, high-gloss surface sealant “Piano Finish” is applied, sanded and elaborately polished in 12 work steps. It gives the housings of the Reference K series an overwhelming depth effect. Acoustically optimized two-piece fabric covers with magnetic attachment round off the noble appearance confidently.

Manufacturing quality

We develop and manufacture the loudspeaker systems of our Reference K series in-house. Only in this way can we maintain the necessary quality standards, eliminate fault tolerances and meet the high sound requirements for our top products.
