The reference LS-1102 has 6 conductors, each with 37 concentrically stranded wires. The wires are arranged in triple symmetry and are specially designed in CC-187 design to keep inductance low and resistance linear. The overall large cable cross-section ensures excellent and controlled bass reproduction and high efficiency. Polyethylene (PE) already has very good electrical properties for audio, video and digital cables. The foaming creates a proportion of air in this dielectric, which further reduces the interference potential on the cables, which act like a battery. The reproduction gains even more brilliance and space. A layer of solid PE protects the foamed PE from mechanical influences.

A critical cable coating is inductance. It imparts a resistance to the signal current that increases with frequency. Multiple nested multicore setups like the LS-1102 reduce this effect and give the sound more precision and punch. In classic stranded cables, the individual wires run chaotically through the conductor. This creates undefined contact points, which can lead to inaccurate signal transmission. In contrast, in concentric copper structures, each wire has a precisely defined position within the conductor. This enables homogeneous signal transmission and ensures crystal-clear audio playback.
