EVO3 Super Nova is the most sophisticated (passive) front-end source component power cleaning system IsoTek has developed so far. Unlike some power clean concepts the EVO3 Super Nova not only adjusts to the connected load, it creates the ultimate barrier to differential mode noise cross-contamination and is designed for primary components that typically have a constant current draw, thus CD Players, Music Servers, DACs, Pre-Amplifiers, Phono stages etc.
EVO3 Super Nova is an ultimate multiple power cleaning and protection system for ultra high-end components. There are eight individual and independent power cleaning networks which auto sense the connected load, adjust and provide the best clean power environment, in addition each of these offers over 100’000Amps of protection.
Fashioned from aluminium, Super Nova’s rigid outer casing is cradled in a specially developed support structure called ISIS© (Independent System Isolation Support). The main unit is point-clamped between two panels at the top and bottom, each of which is formed of a special resonance-damping material sandwiched between two ultra-dense plates, with the overall structure supported by four substantial aluminium pillars.
ISIS© was developed in conjunction with Kurt Olbert, the founder of Clearlight Audio and an acknowledged expert in developing proprietary materials for audio applications. Its purpose is two-fold. First, it reduces the effect of airborne vibration and microphony, as well as subsonic vibration and resonance in the device itself, which are detrimental to the performance of electronics. Second, its shape, strength and resonance-damping abilities provide a perfect platform on which to place other components, its stackable design saving space when using more than one IsoTek unit.
EVO3 Super Nova measures 500mm in width, 500mm deep and 300mm high. At the rear are eight independent output sockets.
KERP© (Kirchoff’s Equal Resistance Path) ensures equal resistance and equal power delivery to all outlets. The internal wiring is of the highest standard, ultra pure Ohno Continuous Cast copper solid core conductor strands with silver-plating, offers low resistance and high amperage. A Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) helix is wound around the conductor before an extruded FEP dielectric protects the conductor and creates a Virtual Dielectric of Air (VDA). This construction gives unrivalled performance and gives the ultimate low resistance, high performance internal power delivery system. Furthermore, each of the Super Nova’s eight output sockets feature 100,000A of instantaneous protection using IsoTek’s unique sequential and repeatable protection system and therefore safeguarding your valuable audio equipment.
The EVO3 Super Nova is an excellent upgrade for ultra high-end audio systems improving sound stage, detailed three dimensional imaging, micro-dynamics, control and a sense of extended frequency range and openness. IsoTek’s award winning Premier power cable is also included.
The internal wiring of IsoTek products synergizes with the range of IsoTek power cables. One critical but overlooked area is maintaining commonality of design and material properties though an audio wiring loom, be it signal carrying cables or your power cable network.

IsoTek EVO3 Premier
EVO3 Premier was inspired by discussions with high-end electronics companies, many of whom produce audio equipment that retails for tens of thousands of pounds and yet is bundled with poor quality power cords that significantly constrain performance.
Premier delivers excellent performance, and also represents outstanding value-for-money. No compromise has been made in relation to the quality of parts and materials used in its construction.
FEATURES
CONSTRUCTION:
The conductors are in a parallel construction with a slight rotational twist. This established technique remains the first line of defence against RFI and EMI rejection.
A) Conductors:
Silver plated 99.9999% OFC conductors offer an exceptional level of purity with enhanced conductivity. They are less likely to fracture (compared to solid core) or degrade over time. Silver is an excellent conductor and when combined with a high purity copper provides impressive electrical properties.
B) Dielectric:
Teflon FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) dielectric (insulation) is chemically inert and has a very low dielectric constant over a wide frequency range. FEP possesses a very high degree of stress crack resistance and a low coefficient of friction making it an exceptional dielectric. FEP is the first choice for safety in both temperature and electrical insulation.
C) Filler:
Cotton filler has been used to give the cable internal strength and reduce microphony. Cotton also possesses excellent dielectric properties, the best of a solid material.
D) Wrap:
A paper wrap is used to secure the construction prior to the application of a flexible PVC jacket. The addition of the paper and cotton form a buffer with the PVC so as to maintain exceptional dielectric properties.
E) Jacket:
PVC is used as the outer jacket to give a high degree of flexibility and mechanical strength.
TERMINATION:
Premier cable is terminated using IsoTek’s bespoke Audiophile grade moulded connectors of solid OFC with 24ct gold plated conductors. These offer the highest quality performance and are less prone to tarnish.
